the incredibles-action film

The incredibles is perfect example of a children's action film. The characters in this movie all fit in very nicely to the genre of this movie. characters in this film are all superhero's which is great for children, as it gives them someone to analyse and look up to. all characters have powers that children may dream and aspire of having. The film itself is based on a familly with powers, which children may relate to.

This film is full action, but not in a very violent way, as it is quite unrealistic therefore does not scare children. The action in the film is full of make belive fighting that excites children. The film doesn't include any realistic weapons to ensure the young audience is not influenced to use a weapon.

Snow White

Despite Snow White being certified as a U the film features some inappropriate features for this certification. The story's villain: Snow White's evil step mother, turns into a terrifying witch at different points throughout the story, this could be seen as too scary for an audience of this age. She also poisons her step daughter with an apple which is a scary moment as an apple is an everyday object. The whole feeling of the film is quite dark and just generally inappropriate for the age it is supposed to be directed at.
